I assume that you're writing about "martyr" - Of course it's affecting knight himself. This spell has same icon as "Unbeatable armor" so it's replacing this when you have unbeatable armor on you.

You can update your game through Bloodstone.exe or just download new one from site but remember to copy your hotkeys, map and mark on map.

You should be able to get this item again by going to NPC called Ermos. He's located in south of Danmori Village (Centaur village).
